The Schrinner Council’s successful Growing Precincts Together program will be expanded over the coming year to help even more local businesses grow, connect and thrive.
Bald Hills Village, Wilston Village, Stones Corner and Hawthorne Road will join the successful initiative, building on strong results already achieved in Racecourse Road, Rosalie Village, Banyo Village and Wynnum Town Centre.
Since launching in 2022, the program has helped more than 540 businesses attract customers, boost sales and strengthen suburban business precincts.
Each new precinct will benefit from:
- Local networking events to strengthen business connections.
- Council-supported precinct promotions and activations.
- Regular precinct updates to keep traders informed.
- Access to business support programs, including digital masterclasses, food business sessions and artificial intelligence for business workshops.
Council will also continue support for previous precincts through the Growing Precincts Together Legacy Program.
This ongoing support helps businesses build on past successes and further enhance their local precincts.
