More than 350 free and affordable activities will be delivered by the Schrinner Council during the winter school holidays.
Libraries, parks, environment centres and even City Hall will be among the Council venues that come to life with events for the whole family to enjoy.
Over the two-week break, 80 per cent of activities on offer are completely free, so families can enjoy spending time with each other, without spending any money.
New activities in the program include Mindful Yoga for tweens and teens, with multiple sessions being held across Spring Hill, Camp Hill, Indooroopilly and Alderley.
Budding athletes can also join the new Junior Run Squad to learn techniques for improving form and endurance.
Learning doesn’t stop when the school bells rings as the Roma Street Parklands offers free workshops across their Playtopia! program.
From breakdancing to touch rugby and arts and crafts, children aged 5 – 12 can pick up new skills against the backdrop of cityside parkland.
This year’s Lord Mayor’s Children’s Program will also get toes tapping with interactive performances of The Singing Chefs and the Tub-thumping Orchestra.
Children are encouraged to bring their own everyday objects to be part of the biggest kid Tub thumping Orchestra in the world.
While many of the activities on offer are free of charge, most require booking in advance.
