Residents keen to hit the road for their next dining adventure can now track food trucks on the Brisbane app.
Lord Mayor Adrian Schinner said the new feature makes it easier for people to locate their favourite food truck or discover new food trucks parked close to their home.
“The Brisbane app is a one-stop destination for residents and visitors to discover what’s going on in Brisbane,” Cr Schrinner said.
“Every dollar we’ve invested in the Brisbane app has gone to supporting Brisbane businesses who have been through a lot in recent years, including a global pandemic and rising costs.
“The app has continued to get even better with more and more businesses getting involved and more residents and visitors compiling public guides of their favourite things to do in Brisbane.”
Cr Schrinner said hungry residents will be able to find their favourite food truck using the interactive map and leave reviews.
“Residents and visitors will also have the chance to receive exclusive deals and updates when they ‘like’ their favourite food truck,” he said.
“With almost 30 food truck vendors already registered, there is something for everyone available for every appetite on the Brisbane app.”Cr Schrinner said the Brisbane app is a fantastic way for local businesses to reach a new customers while helping residents and visitors find even more to see, do and eat.
“More than 30,000 people a month are using the Brisbane app which features an impressive collection of local businesses across hospitality and entertainment sectors,” he said.
“Every day there are hundreds of free and affordable activities happening across Brisbane, and the Brisbane app brings together all the exciting options in one place to plan your perfect day out.
“Whether it’s a Friday night dinner, a Saturday morning market or a Sunday afternoon music session, there is always something happening on Brisbane’s event calendar.”
The Brisbane app is available to download on the App Store and on Google Play.
