Dear Mr.Schrinner,
With the strong gusty winds blowing at Carina Heights on the weekend, it reminded me that I did not thank you for the great job that was done in the removal of the very tall gum trees adjoining my property. I really appreciate your involvement and facilitation of a resolution of this tree problem that seemed to go on for 15 years.
I would also like you to pass on my thanks to the Local Council Works Department, especially Gary who has consulted with me over many years and has been very patient and understanding. Also Rowan who did a very detailed report on the area and was very thoughtful in organising a meeting at my place with the Council arbours in explaining the procedures in place to remove the trees and also the replanting of the bank. ‘RiverCity’ trees have to be commended on their skills at removing such large trees as everything went very smoothly and professionally.
In the weeks following the tree removals, the Council tree planters were back on the bank planting 50 shrubs including Grevillea, Callistemon, and Lemon Scented Tea Trees. We have been very fortunate with the rain and all the shrubs are flourishing and some Callistemon only 1 metre high are draping with 10 red bottlebrush flowers, which is great to see. Even the Lorikeets are back enjoying the new foliage.
Once again, my family would like to extend their sincere thanks for a job well done!
